The M4 achieves a single-core score of over 3,600 and a multi-core score near 14,000, establishing a new record for entry-level consumer silicon. What makes this impressive is that it runs on a fanless iPad chassis, indicating that upcoming MacBook Pros and Airs will have even better thermals.
